Steamed herbal chicken with chicken essence by Judy Tan

Ingredients A:
- 8-10 red dates
- about 5 dang Shen
- a handful of Yu zhu
- 3-4 pcs of dang gui
- 1 tbsp of wolfberries
- 500ml water
Seasoning:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp light soya sauce
- some sesame oil n pepper
Ingredients B:
- 6 chicken thighs
- 1 bottle of chicken essence
- some shaoxing wine
Methods:
- In a saucepan, put ingredients A and seasoning, boil at low heat for abt 30mins
- in a steaming tray, arrange chicken nicely and pour the herbal soup over. You can include some stalks of spring onions for enhance flavor. Steam abt 30mins.
- before serving, pour the chicken essence n shaoxing wine over
