Moist Chocolate Banana Cake by Helga Soo
Ingredients
100g Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
50g Royce Creamy Milk Chocolate
1.5 cup of Self Raising Flour
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Powder
2 Ripe Bananas (mashed)
1 Egg
1/4 Cup of Milk
1 Banana (cut into small pieces)
Method
Melt the Butter, Chocolate, Vanilla Essence and Brown Sugar in a heated sauce pan, off heat and let it cool. I used fan to blow for 20 mins.
Add mashed Bananas, Self Raising Flour (sieved), Baking Powder (sieved), Milk & Egg and hand whisk. I used balloon whisk and mix all the ingredients well.
Pour batter into a round 8" mould, place the pieces of Banana on top of the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180 deg Celsius for 30-35 mins.
