Cantonese Pan Fried Prawns!
(干煎虾碌) 🍤
Recipe below -...
1kg prawns
2 shallots ( I don have so nv use)
3 cloves minced garlic
1 dried red chilli
1 stalk spring onion ( chopped finely, separate the greens and whites.)
The sauce -
100g Ketchup
1tbsp Worcestershire sauce
20g premium oyster sauce
1tsp sugar

The sauce -

Method -
1. Wash and trim the prawns by snipping off the legs and devein the prawns. I remove the heads too.
2. Combine all the gravy ingredients in a bowl.
3. Heat oil in a wok till very hot and sear the prawns on both side. Dish up and set aside.
4. With the remaining oil in the wok, make sure there's around 2 or 3 tbsp oil, on high heat, cook the minced garlic and shallots till fragrant. Add in the fried chilli and the white part of the spring onion and cook till u smell the fragance.
5. Return the prawns back into the wok and the prepared sauce too. Toss well to coat the prawns well. Add in the green parts of the spring onions. Combine well and it's ready!
